10 Years with Spinnaker - an answer to prayer!

I have just realised that it is 10 years this month since I joined Spinnaker! 

I had just been made redundant from my job as a trainer and was wondering what direction to go in next when I saw a job advertised with Spinnaker.  It was the right role at the right time and once again this makes me reflect on how God has a hand on our lives and provides what we need!  Of course,a lot has changed over this time, but the vision and enthusiasm for making Jesus known in schools remains the same and I feel blessed to be involved. I like being behind the scenes, keeping things running smoothly, supporting the whole team to do what they do best. I even enjoy working with our lovely bunch of trustees looking at finances and policies! I am also grateful that I get the opportunity to help out in schools every now and then, to share Jesus and the message of hope that He brings.

There are not many other jobs that are so meaningful and yet so much fun, working with a crazy, imaginative and creative bunch of people who care so much about what they do.

Our verse for this term is Colossians 9:8:

"And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work." 

As we begin this term, I recognise that God has been with us and that He will continue to give us all that we need, but I also want to acknowledge how much He has blessed me over the last 10 years in this role.
