Faith in Schools

‘The Lord is with you wherever you go’ – 

this is hands down my favourite verse/promise in the bible!  I have always found so much security, comfort, love and reassurance from my own faith. 

These words (reaffirmed by Jesus at the end of Matthew) were spoken to Joshua and all God’s people at the edge of the promised land.

At the time of writing, we are on the edge of a kind of 'promised land' – the end of national restrictions, and the return to 'normal' – long awaited and long promised we are finally here. I wonder how God’s people really felt about it…

Personally I find this time a little bewildering, I can be a little unsure about quite what is right to do, and wary of what the future might hold. I trust that the Lord is with me wherever (whenever) I go – this is the foundation of my faith in knowing that God’s presence and interest is always with us.

Spinnaker also finds itself on the edge of new things and we are excited to invest in faith in the future of excellent schools outreach! Schools are itching to have us back and we are only too happy to oblige with a brilliant fresh vision to engage children in faith-filled wonder and learning, and support teachers in developing frameworks for child-led spiritual growth.

Our ambitions to lead schools and churches with excellent schools outreach is, like all ventures, daunting but we believe that God's words ring true to us still: ‘The Lord is with you wherever you go’!
