Happy New Year!
This is what a teacher said to me this week, and I realised that when you work in school, September is the beginning of the year. We’re really excited to be back in schools, seeing the children and staff and sharing our new assembly series with them.
Looking back...
We were very busy last term! The Spinnaker Orpington team presented 61 assemblies, organised 2 church visits and led workshops at 1 RE day and the 2-day Bromley Schools Festival. That’s a lot of children to hear about Jesus, God and the Bible, through story, dance and drama. I was welcomed at The Temple URC and Orpington Deanery Synod to talk about our work and share an assembly and had some great responses of encouragement and support.

We are beginning our new assembly series, Beyond Belief – Values into Action! The first, ‘Valuables’, has been well received and we’re enjoying presenting them. Take a look HERE to find out more.
