Leaving a Legacy
If you would like to think about leaving a gift to Spinnaker in your Will, here are some tips and guidelines to help you
It has been so very encouraging to receive legacy gifts over the years of Spinnaker's work in schools.
Over the past 5 years 11.4% of our overall income is attributed to legacy gifts.
There are a few reasons for leaving a gift to charity in your Will. The most obvious one is that legacy gifts can help ensure the work of the charity can carry on for future generations.
Another consideration is that if you leave more than 10% of your entire estate to charity, then the total amount of inheritance tax you pay reduces from 40% to 36%.
